Switching to VIMA means moving your patients, appointments and, where your current software allows it, your records and documents into VIMA.care, practice software for paramedical practices in Belgium. VIMA has import wizards for Punto (with your Ulink login), Crossuite, the new version of Crossuite, Progenda and Salonized, a CSV or Excel import for a patient list, and an import of your online booking page configuration. You log in or upload a file, link your treatment types and practitioners, and VIMA imports. Invoices and payments do not come along. The wizards are included in VIMA, which costs €30 per month excl. VAT for the first practitioner, with a 60 day free trial, and we help you with the switch free of charge.
You want to switch, but typing in every patient again is not an option.
An import wizard fetches your patients and appointments from your current software. With a CSV or Excel file you import a patient list from any package.
Your future appointments have to stay where they are.
With Crossuite you move the future appointments first and the history after. The other wizards bring your appointments along too, linked to the treatment types you choose.
Setting up your booking page again takes an evening.
Import the configuration of your existing online booking page: locations, practitioners, consultation types and working schedules.
Log in with your Ulink credentials. Patients, appointments, notes on past appointments and files come along.
Patients, appointments, locations, notes and documents, and the clinical records as historical reports. Future appointments first, history after.
Log in with a code by email. Patients with health insurer, appointments, working schedules, record forms as reports and documents.
Patients, appointments, consultation types, practitioners and working schedules, with a preview before you import.
Customers as patients and their appointments, based on the Salonized exports.
A patient list from any software, with columns you link yourself and duplicates you handle yourself.
Locations, practitioners, consultation types and working schedules from your existing online booking page, for example from Crossuite or Esculon.
An import can be rolled back. VIMA then removes only what that import created.
Part of VIMA.care, browser-based practice software for multidisciplinary care and paramedical practices in Belgium. Works on web, iPad, smartphone, Mac and Windows.
Every import wizard follows the same steps. You decide what goes where; VIMA does the typing.
You enter the login of your current software, such as your Ulink login for Punto or a code by email for the new Crossuite, or you upload a CSV or Excel file.
VIMA fetches your data and shows the progress. For larger practices this runs in the background.
You link the treatment types and practitioners from your old software to those in VIMA, create a new practitioner or skip a type.
VIMA imports the patients first, then the appointments and then documents and notes. For Progenda, the new Crossuite and the CSV import you first see a preview without anything being saved.
For Punto and Crossuite, VIMA then fills in the notes on past appointments with the content of the consultation forms.
You see what was imported. Running an import again only adds what was not there yet, and rolling an import back only removes what that import created.
What you can move depends on what your current software allows. This is what the wizards fetch today.
Patients with contact details, date of birth, shoe size and notes, and their tags. Appointments, past and future, with a consultation holding the notes for each past appointment. Files in their own folder per patient.
Patients with contact details and national register number, appointments with their locations, consultations for past appointments and documents. With the clinical import, the clinical records from the patient file come in as historical reports.
Patients with health insurer, increased reimbursement status and GP, appointments, busy blocks, working schedules and lunch breaks, record forms as reports with their original date, and documents.
Patients, appointments, consultation types, practitioners and working schedules.
Customers as patients with contact details and notes, and their appointments, past and future.
A patient list: name, gender, address, phone, email, date of birth, national register number and notes. VIMA spots duplicates by national register number or name, and you choose: skip, merge or overwrite.
Locations, practitioners, consultation types with duration, colour and price, and working schedules, from a public booking page of Crossuite or Esculon. Another booking page we look at by hand.
An honest switch starts with knowing what is left for you to do.
No wizard imports invoices, payment receipts or payments. Your financial history stays in your old software or your accounts.
Cancelled appointments and public holidays from Progenda, and deleted calendar items from the new Crossuite, do not come along.
Free blocks and availability from Punto do not come along; you set your working hours in VIMA.
Treatment types you set to skip while linking, and their appointments, do not come along.
A booking page import only takes over the configuration, no patients and no appointments.
Columns that do not match a VIMA patient field are left out by the CSV import.
How VIMA handles duplicates, periods and your existing data.
With Crossuite and Salonized, VIMA links an existing patient by name and date of birth. With Punto and the new Crossuite, VIMA creates a new patient and flags a possible duplicate, so you decide.
With Progenda and the new Crossuite you fetch appointments from a start date you choose, five years back by default, up to twelve months ahead.
A rollback removes only what that import created. Appointments you have charged or changed in VIMA in the meantime stay.
If you run the same import again later, VIMA only adds what was not imported yet.
It keeps working until you decide. You try VIMA free for 60 days and cancel your old package when you are ready.
We help you with the switch free of charge. Email [email protected].
The wizards work the same way for every discipline. This is what comes along on top per discipline, or what you set up in VIMA afterwards.
The Punto import brings the shoe size along. Biomechanical record forms from the new Crossuite come in as reports. You fill in the foot chart in VIMA.
Patients and appointments through a wizard or CSV. The reimbursement files per pathology, with prescription and quota, you create in VIMA afterwards.
Patients and appointments through a wizard or CSV. Home visits are then planned on a location of the home visit type, and the at-risk foot screening starts in VIMA.
The shared core: patients and appointments through a wizard or CSV. Weight and other details from Crossuite land in the patient notes.
The shared core: with Crossuite the clinical records come along as historical reports, so the history is in the record.
A switch can happen in three ways. The difference is how much is left for you.

VIMA keeps one reliable core: the same calendar, records and receipts run every practice. On top of that core, the workflows are shaped per supported discipline, using feedback from the professionals who use VIMA in their daily practice.
Dedicated workflow depth is currently available for podiatry, speech therapy and specialised foot care. Dietitian practices currently use the configurable shared core for scheduling, records, forms, consultation types and payments.
Which treatment types and practitioners you link, and what you skip, you decide yourself during the import. The wizards are part of the shared core for every practice, while podiatry, speech therapy and specialised foot care keep their own record depth once the data is in.
